As of 1st June 2017, Steve Foster became a member of our Board of Directors. Moving into the role of Operations Director, and Director of Health and Safety, Steve will be responsible for ensuring our projects are delivered successfully, safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
With close to 25 years experience in the construction industry, Steve joined Prater in April 2014 as an Operations Manager benefitting from a wealth of vital expertise and insight, having worked for both main contractors and specialist sub contractors, Steve was appointed as Associate Operations Director in April 2015 and this enhanced role saw him take on greater responsibility across a broader portfolio of projects in tendering, pre-construction and delivery.
His comprehensive experience, in both the UK market and overseas, has underpinned his part in a number of successful and major projects within our portfolio, including Ark Academy, Embassy Gardens and IQL (International Quarter London).
Now as a member of the board, Steve will oversee the entirety of the Operational department, concentrating on developing the skills of those working as part of the Prater team, to maintain our position as the UK’s leading complete building envelope specialist. He will also continue to strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients.
“One of the greatest challenges currently facing the industry, is the increased pressure on delivery time frames, and as Operations Director it is my responsibility to ensure Prater continues to excel in delivery without compromising our core values of safety and quality,” explains Steve.
