At the recent Construction News Awards ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel, London, Prater won the prestigious Specialist Contractor Award - Roofing category.
The judges were particularly impressed with Prater’s innovative use of off-site manufacturing techniques to construct the 24,000m2 roof on the Kings Waterfront Arena & Conference Centre, Liverpool which involved installing a two layer modular roofing system.
Prater’s dedicated approach to training and Health & Safety issues was also a key factor in winning the award.
Prater’s Business Development Director, Andy Newman collected the award on behalf of the company.
