On Sunday 20th July Prater held a family fun day- open to all staff and their families-at Horley Town Football Club.
Like all Prater events of this type it was well attended and everyone had a good time.
The main event was a 6 a side football tournament organised by Zac Cornish who scored a goal in the final –unfortunately it was against his own side!
However, the real winner was Macmillan Cancer Support -a charity set up to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. This charity was selected by Zac as he has had personal experience of how important their work is.
There was also a children’s football tournament, Bouncy Castle, BBQ and other fund raising activities.
Over £2000 was raised with all proceeds going to Macmillan.
Thank you to everyone who took part and those who give up their time to organise the events.
