Pembury Hospital
Pembury Hospital is a £225 million PFI project, providing a 65,000M2 Acute Hospital for the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, the main contractor is Laing O’Rourke.
All inpatients will be accommodated in single en suite bedrooms, making it the first Acute Hospital of its type in the UK.
Project value for Prater is circa £7.5 million and the scope of works includes:
11,000 sq m pre fabricated metal backing wall 9,000 sq m Permarock Insulated render 2564 sq m Eternit Rainscreen 1000 sq m Ceramic Rainscreen 4200 sq m Single Ply Roofing 1,200 sq m Standing seam roofing 8,100 sqm Structural waterproofing
Our works are programmed for completion in Christmas 2009

Caerphilly Hospital
Caerphilly Hospital is a £133 million scheme which is replacing the old Caerphilly Miners hospital, it will have 270 beds, all with en-suite facilities and include a local emergency centre and diagnostic and treatment services. Prater is due to start on site in February 2009 and was involved from an early stage with the main contractor BAM and architect to assist with developing the design proposals.
Project value for Prater is circa £9.5 million and the scope of works includes:
19,000 sq m Kingframe AFS system 7,500 sq m Natura rainscreen board system 11,000 sq m Composite panels 770 sq m Zinc cassette rainscreen system 4,500 sq m Permatec hot melt modified bitumen flat roofing system 12,500 sq m Kalzip standing seam roofing 2,500 sq m Aluminium Capping
