Prater has successfully secured 6 new projects in the past quarter, adding to the company’s portfolio for 2009 and beyond. Projects cover commercial, education and stadium builds, demonstrating Prater’s breadth of expertise in many sectors.
New projects include:
Project: Telehouse West
Main contractor: Mace
Scope of works: Hot melt inverted roof and a green roof.
Project: Cabot House, Bristol
Main contractor: Sir Robert McAlpine
Scope of works: Traditional cladding, zinc standing seam and Permatec inverted roofing.
Project: Olympic Stadium West Stand
Main contractor: Sir Robert McAlpine
Scope of works: Cladding package which includes aluminium curtain walling, ACM rainscreen cladding and steel back-up wall and doors.
Project: Northfleet Technical College
Main contractor: Kier
Scope of works: Rain screen cladding, hot melt roofing and single ply roofing totalling over 13,000sq m.
Project: Ravensbourne College
Main contractor: Bovis Lend Lease
Scope of works: Structural waterproofing, render composite cladding and rain screen.
Project: Earth Sciences Building, Oxford
Main contractor: Laing O’Rourke
Scope of works: Biodiverse roof system, timber roofing, single ply and Kalzip standing seam roofing.
