Prater achieves Investors in People Re-Recognition
Prater has achieved re-recognition for the coveted ‘Investors in People’ certification. This is the third time for Prater and is a result of the constant implementation of good practice in the work place.
Throughout the company, time and effort is continually focussed on learning and development, employee welfare, creating an open and honest working environment and consistently providing professionalism throughout all business activities.
Prater has been congratulated for its success in retaining the sought after recognition. HR Manager, Jeanette Brazier commented: “We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality service but at the core of that there must be a stable and happy workforce. The continued recognition from IIP highlights that we are able to constantly provide a first class standard of working, and by empowering our employees through development and learning, create a positive culture for all.”
Training and development opportunities are regularly offered to those working at Prater. All training is closely aligned with the company’s business objectives to ensure everyone is working towards the same goals.
Feedback from employees was extremely positive with comments including; “I’m proud to work for Prater”; “Management has good people skills”; and “I enjoy coming into work”.
Prater already has certification to ISO 9001:2008, the internationally recognised standard for quality management systems, which along with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and Investors in People, ensures the company is always striving to develop both procedures and staff.
