SCOPE OF WORKS
3500m² Kalzip metal standing seam roofing system, 4,500m² Permaquik waterproofing and 360 linear metres of CGL Systems insulated gutters.
Albion Riverside is a prestigious, eleven storeys high, mixed use commercial and residential development situated at London’s South Bank. Prater worked closely with Fosters’ and supply partners Corus Building Systems, Waagner Biro and CGL Systems from the initial design stage to installation which ensured the innovative and challenging roof design could be achieved.
The roof features an intricate geometry of curves and tapers which matches the buildings curving form – in order to accommodate its design Prater installed a Kalzip pre-curved and tapered metal standing seam roofing system over a Kalzip galvanised deck. Rainwater management was controlled by a symphonic system utilising CGL Systems insulated membrane lined gutters. Prater also carried out waterproofing works to the sunken roof plant areas, balconies, ground floor slab and paving areas using a Permaquik waterproofing system
