BITUMINOUS SYSTEMS
Reinforced, rubberised bitumen systems are ideal for a wide range of applications including: inverted roofs, car parks, foundations, plaza decks and other ‘below ground’ structural water-proofing requirements. These multi-layer, full bonded systems eliminate the possibility of water ‘tracking’ under the membrane, are self-healing under load and can be laid with zero falls. Prater has wide experience in installing this type of system supported by approved contractor status from leading suppliers.
COLD APPLIED SOLUTIONS
Offering the same performance levels as hot applied systems, applied in 2 coats with a reinforcing layer. Predominantly used for inverted roofs but can also be utilised for warm roof construction. When used for an inverted roof, it can be applied onto a flat concrete slab without falls, remaining intact for the lifetime of the structure to which it is bonded.
GREEN ROOFING
With increasing pressure to provide sustainable roofing systems, green and brown roof finishes ideally compliment structural waterproofing solutions installed in cold roof construction. A variety of options are available including hydro-seeding, plug planting or sedum mats. An aesthetically pleasing roof finish can be achieved without compromise to performance.
