SCOPE OF WORKS
27,200 m² Sarnafil single ply waterproofing, aluminium soffit trays, GRP walkways and step-overs, aluminium bullnoses and fascias, 6500m² polycarbonate sheeting.
Prater designed and installed a safety net fall and arrest system which was dramatically suspended from the front to the back of the stadium during construction. For the integrated roofing structure, Prater created an aluminium mill finish soffit tray system to accommodate the PA system and bowl lighting. As each section of the soffits was installed, Prater fixed a metal deck to the top flanges of the structural steel beams followed by plywood decking.
A Sarnafil single ply membrane manufactured in a special RAL colour to specification was then installed to fully waterproof the roof. Prater also designed and installed aluminium bullnoses and fascias to pitch side and external elevations which included the provision of secondary steelwork.
