SCOPE OF WORKS
5000m² Nordicon wall panels, timber curtain walling, composite panels and solid pressed particle board. Octavia Housing Trust, as part of a £9million redevelopment programme at White City, London, commissioned Como to build 70 residential, social, shared ownership and affordable homes. The project featured a 5000m² offsite manufactured external wall solution supplied and installed by Prater.
Nordicon wall panels manufactured by supply partner Ruukki were delivered to site ready made and fully weather protected complete with aluminium windows and also door apertures. The wall units were simply hoisted into position and then mechanically attached to the buildings’ main structure. Once secured Prater’s installation team fixed timber cladding to the external walls to create an aesthetically pleasing and practical façade. RELATED DISCIPLINES:
