SCOPE OF WORKS
Secret fix, terracotta rainscreen façade, perforated anodised cladding, glazed curtain walling, aluminium windows, fascia and soffitt cladding and Gluelam feature timbers.
Drake Circus is a fully covered 560,000 sq ft city centre shopping complex housing 8 major stores, over 48 shops plus cafes and restaurants including a fully refurbished and extended M&S.
Prater installed 2300m2 of a secret fix, terracotta rainscreen façade provided by supply partners CGL Systems to the main elevations of the building. The façade which is inclined at a 9 degree pitch has become a focal part of the project and is complemented by a perforated, anodised framed cladding system.
Additional scope of works included: a Schuco FW50+ curtain walling system, Schuco Royal 550 Windows and Gluelam feature timbers beams integrated with a timber clad curtain wall. RELATED DISCIPLINES:
