Overview Expand

Working alongside main contractor Mace, the Camden Lock Village scheme is a redevelopment in London that required a substantial roofing package.

As part of the ongoing regeneration of London’s vibrant Camden Town, the Camden Lock Village development will include residential and high quality commercial buildings.

A mixed-use 50,000m2 development, there will be eight new buildings between three and nine storeys in height, housing a new canal-side market, cafes, restaurants, a cinema, 195 new and private affordable homes and a primary school.

One of the key challenges of the project was its close proximity to the Regent’s Canal and both the underground and national rail infrastructure. Because of this, space on site was limited and access for deliveries had to be planned carefully. It also required close collaboration with Network Rail and London Underground to ensure that operations could continue safely.
