Overview Expand

Located on its West Cambridge site, the University of Cambridge’s Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology building is the latest addition to the university’s science and engineering hub.

Designed by leading architects BDP, the energy-efficient, purpose-built development houses all undergraduate, post graduate and research activity for the merged Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology departments, under one roof.

Main contractor Morgan Sindall appointed Lindner Prater to deliver the complete building envelope including Kawneer curtain walling, fixed as well as tilt and turn windows and doors, a rainscreen and cladding system, soffits, coping pressings and all roofing works.

This contract follows our completion of the roofing package for the Department of Metal Science and Metallurgy’s building, also at the University of Cambridge.
